Recent pandemic developments in the United States, including the lifting of vaccine/masking mandates and loosening of restrictions in states, counties, and cities across the country - along with the CDC’s updated guidance on mitigation measures - have introduced significant uncertainty to the future demand for COVID-19 health verification tools.

We remain committed to our belief that the world needs a fairly-priced health verification platform like Bindle for both the current pandemic as well as future pandemics. However, at our current pricing levels, the Bindle health pass business model only works with significant adoption - thousands of locations across the country - and we simply do not see a path to that type of adoption now that the United States is moving to a phase of “living with the virus.”

Accordingly, and unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to sunset the Bindle digital health pass platform on May 31, 2022, unless a) we find an acquirer for the platform or b) we secure grants to support the continued operation of the platform.

For now, what does this mean for you?

• Prospective Partners:  (e.g. venues, organizations, event planners)

  • We are not onboarding new partners at this time and will update this page if things change.

• Current Partners (e.g. venues, organizations, event planners): No action is required from you at this time. We will continue to provide the same level of support to you and your patrons through this transition period until May 31. After May 31, we will remove your organization from the platform and cease billing for future months. Your final bill will be received in June for May activity. 

• Bindle Users (e.g. patrons, event attendees) - We will continue to provide the same level of support through May 31. We will update this page once we know about the long-term availability of the app for individuals.
